Make sure you read "How Canada's Sex Assault Law's Violate Victims"

This week, I'm in Cape Breton and busy preparing for some meetings.  This is going to be my week off from writing an entry.

I am enjoying reading all of your posts.  The Globe had a feature story this Saturday on sexual assault law that makes for a depressing read.  It is the 30th anniversary of the 1983 law reform and Kirk Makin is reflecting on its impacts.  It is an important article that underlines many of your insights in the the blog.

"Queen’s University law professor Pamela Cross, an expert on sexual assault, says that if someone she knows personally were attacked, “I would advise thinking very hard” before calling the police."
